Design and Display
Basically, the iPhone XS Max is a larger version of the iPhone X with a similar glass build and metallic frame. It feels premium in every way and quite compact weighing as much as 208g with a thickness of 7.7-inch. the camera is aligned vertically same as before and protrude a bit at the back.
Going all the way to 6.5-inch, the smartphone is quite a large screen smartphone even if it is much like the iPhone 8 Plus in overall size. Colours appear vibrant with deep blacks and impressive contrast which marks viewing a beautiful experience.

Cameras on the iPhone XS Max is the same as it is on the iPhone XS. Two cameras are at the rear side one having an f/1.8 aperture wide angle 12MP sensor and the other has an f/2.4 aperture on a telephoto lens of 12MP pixels too.
The duo has optical image stabilization and can be used to shoot videos at 2160p at 24/30/60fps and 1080p at 30/60/120/240fps with 720p going up to 960fps.
Like on the iPhone X, there is Animoji, Memoji and a new feature that allows you to adjust background blur even after the shot. The camera is capable of recording stereo sound and comes with AI scene recognition as well as other AI aided tweaks.
Hardware and Software
Same story goes for the iPhone XS Max and the smaller XS in the hardware section. The smartphone comes with the new Bionic 12 chipset which is said to be able to handle 5 trillion operations per second.
