iPhone 6+ uses the new system on chip designed by Apple, the Apple A8, which offers a 25% faster CPU and 50% faster graphics. M8 coprocessor is also available to take some of the load as well as track user’s steps, distance, etc.

The iPhone 6+ keeps the has TouchID fingerprint sensor in the home button, but the power button has been moved from the top to the side.

iPhone 6 Plus features a 5.5-inch IPS display with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution. The display is protected with coated shatterproof glass that also reduces fingerprint smug.

It is a bright display with up to 500 nits, which is great for watching movies and browsing the web.

According to Apple, they are introducing a new technology in the iPhone 6 Plus that uses dual domain pixels on the IPS display, providing a wider viewing angle. This is the first in the industry, and so we have to wait to see how it works.
